Château Mangot

In the limestone-rich hills of Saint-Émilion, Château Mangot has cultivated vines for centuries, with records of wine produced at “Mangot” dating back to 1559. Now led by brothers Karl and Yann Todeschini, the estate has been modernized while remaining deeply committed to its heritage. Fully organically certified and currently in conversion to biodynamic farming — still rare in Bordeaux — Mangot reflects both tradition and progressive stewardship. The vineyards favor Merlot and Cabernet Franc, yielding wines known for plush texture, dark fruit and refined structure.

The 2022 vintage marks a historic milestone as the estate’s first designated Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé. Composed of 65% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, the wine is crafted with minimal intervention, long maceration and aging in barrel, amphorae and large casks to preserve freshness, purity and balance. We are proud to offer this exceptional release — a defining wine for the estate and a remarkable expression of Saint-Émilion.
